Our pasture-raised, non-GMO chickens are cured and then smoked over applewood and hickory wood. These have a delicious sweet and smokey BBQ flavor.
These smoked chickens are fully cooked and can be served hot or cold. When served warm, this smoked chicken is an excellent centerpiece for a dinner that will please the whole family (see cooking tips below). The meat can also be taken off the bone and chopped. When chopped, the smoked chicken is great on salads and perfect for BBQ chicken sandwiches or chicken salad.
- This product is fully cooked and only needs to be warmed.
- Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place the smoked half chicken in a dutch oven or similar pan. Pour 1/4 cup of water into the pan and then cover it with a lid or foil.
- Place the chicken in the oven for 15-20 minutes until it is heated through.
